Welcome to Terenure College Swimming Pool.
Our 25m leisure pool is warm and crystal clear with gender-specific changing facilities. Plenty of on-site free parking and located in the heart of Terenure, Dublin 6w.
We have come a long way since our outdoor swimming pool in the 60s (see picture below) – we have walls and a roofs now 🙂
We offer a full range of swimming activities including adult-only and family casual swims, adult lane swimming, child and adult swimming lessons, aqua fit and baby/toddler swims. There is something here to suit everybody.
The pool was renovated in 2008 to an impressively high standard. Included in the upgrading of the facility were a totally refurbished pool, improved spectator area, new pool plant room and boiler house, new foyer and reception area. Our staff pride themselves with being friendly and helpful and our Swimming Pool teachers are all qualified, experienced swimming instructors that have a track record of the highest quality instruction.
During term time we offer priority to the educational curriculum for boys of Terenure College. This means, during term time, our public timetable can seem a little restricted. However, over Easter and summer this is expanded to suit all your requests. Please keep an eye on our public timetable for seasonal updates.

Terenure College Swimming Pool was originally an outdoor pool for the student of the college to learn in. We are proud to know the long standing history of our pool and how far we’ve come.
