Also know as Aqua Aerobics, “Aqua Fit”
is an aerobics session in the pool that can maintain and improve stamina, strength and suppleness as well as increase cardiovascular fitness. Unlike aerobics on land, “Aqua Fit”
low-impact and the cushioning effect of the water protects joints in the spine, ankle, hip and knee. It is suitable for people of all ages and abilities as participants can work at a variety of levels by increasing effort. Aqua Fit
classes take place in the shallow end of the pool so although you need to have some confidence in the water you do not need to be a great swimmer to take part. Classes are great fun and exercises are done in time to music.

in week out are a testament to how much they enjoy and benefit from Eleanor’s classes.
Aquafit is a great form of exercise in the water as there’s no strain on your joints. The water allows you to move freely and to work on your heart rate without too much effort.
It is suitable for all ages and is very relaxing and invigorating. One doesn’t need to know how to swim as it’s conducted in shallow water, and more capable swimmers can do their workout in the deep end. Come and join us; have fun and exercise at the same time
Tips for Aqua Fit
